Cyclopentane ozone depletion potential (ODP value) and global warming potential (GWP value) are zero, as a rigid polyurethane foam blowing agent, to replace the atmospheric ozone layer destruction of chlorofluorocarbons (CFC-11), mainly used in fluorine-free refrigerators, freezers, water heaters and cold storage, pipeline insulation and other fields. The solubility of cyclopentane in polyether polyols is small, generally need to use low viscosity polyether polyols, cyclopentane can be mixed with isopentane.
